    Infant/Toddler Easy-on Headkerchief SewALong

Begin with a triangle and a rectangle. In this example, for my 6 month old, I use a triangle, 13"x11.25x11.25, and a rectangle, 9"x1.5".

Fold the rectangular piece in half and stitch, leaving ends open to insert elastic.

Turn and insert elastic, using a safety pin. Tack ends.

On triangular piece, finish the two shorter edges by folding under, then folding under again. Stitch.

Fold lower corners in, 1 inch, press.

Fold edge, 1/4", then fold again, 1/2" and stitch close to edge leaving ends open.

Insert tacked end of casing into the opening, and stitch down securely. Repeat on other end.

    That's it!

Thanks so much! Perfect timing, too. I was wanting to make one of these today for my daughter but wasn't sure quite how - I always love seeing the pictures of your little girl wearing them!!

Funny, and I've been meaning to do this for a month now.

Is there anyway to put something like this in DL's? I just looked through 8 pages to find it.

I turned it to a PDF and uploaded it with Steph's permission.
