I had a little bit of trouble with the instructions for the welt pockets. They did not turn out as smooth as I would have liked. The markings were no sufficient for me and I think that added to problem with the interpretation of the instructions. There can't be room for error on this detail and the way the pattern was done, there was. Everything else went very well. I really liked this pattern.

Very nice jacket you made! It suits your daugter perfect!
I've just sew the pockets on this jacket - I thougt it went ok, except for stiching the triangles to the pocket pieces.. what I did not like, was the corners on the welt and the frontjacket - there I got smal folds... :-(
How did you finish the hem - with a hong kong finish or??

I've finally finished my daugthers trenchcoat from Ottobre 1/2013 - just don't like to make buttonholes - always scared to make a mistake! But it went ok this time as well..
