Which view and size did you make?
There's only one view of this blouse. Size 38 with size 40 waist.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
    Yes
    If not, why?
    -
Were the instructions easy to follow?
    Yes
    If not, why?
The instructions were typical Burda magazine instructions, which can be sparse and tricky to follow. Additionally, Burda follows a different assembly order than most North American patterns. This pattern is for intermediate/advanced sewists.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love how feminine it is. I've never done circular ruffles before, but love how they look. I think it was a perfect match for my fabric.
    Fabric used
Very drapey synthetic fabric. I have no idea what it's called. It's like a matte, synthetic silk with no stretch. Bought off the discount rack.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I used a woven with no stretch, even though the pattern calls for a drapey fabric with some stretch in it. It looks fine, but is a bit tight across the back. If I'd used the stretch fabric called for, it would be fine. I let out the front darts to about half of what was marked on the pattern. I also widened the waist slightly. I have the waist definition of a sausage and this is a normal alteration for me. If I make this blouse again I might also give it more of an A-line shape from the waist to the hem to create the illusion that I have a waist.
Would you sew this pattern again?
    Yes
Would you recommend this pattern to others?
    Yes
    Any additional comments
Since I used a synthetic that cannot be ironed at a high temperature to crease it, I had a hard time pressing the facings to the inside. They tend to slip out. I tacked them to the shoulder seam, but they still slip out a bit along the neckline. Not sure what to do about this.
I plan to make the dress version of this pattern, in the recommended stretch woven. Love it! I told DH he needs to take me out on a date so I can wear it.
