This is the Ottobre 4/2010 pattern if you want to use the same pattern. This same procedure works for a reversible coat.

I am making this tutorial to detail the way you arrange and sew a jacket lining so that it comes out straight. I know when I was doing my first linings it was overwhelming to figure out what order to sew the seams so that I didn't sew myself into a corner, and so that the jacket would be correct once turned inside out.

I *only* recommend this method if sleeve cuffs are needed. If you do not need sleeve cuffs, I can show you an easier way to join the sleeves and will do do in another tute.

I have an even easier way to do a coat with no cuffs, or a reversible sleeveless dress - it doesn't force you to sew your sleeves in the round. I'll do that tut next.
