I made this several times, once for DD (6 1/2 - 116) and two for my nieces (4 - size 98). My DD's didn't turn out much longer than a regular shirt, so I added a couple inches for the twins and it was more tunic-y (still above knee and shorter than a dress).
Cute pattern and lots of options to mix and match fabrics.

I sewed a size 104 and the fit is great but like another reviewer said, I didn't find it to be any longer than a regular top. I skipped gathering the bottom of the sleeves but otherwise sewed it up per the directions. It's a great shirt to mix and match with. I have another one completed but no pictures yet.
