Cut it off at the waist to make a shirt instead of a onesie. Great pattern!

Size 50 width, 56 length on a 10 pound baby 2 mos old. GREAT pattern.
Does this bodysuit differ any from the one in 4/2007? Or is it the same pieces?

If you cut the girly, poofier sleeves instead of the boy sleeves, you can actually use a woven for the sleeves. I think I prefer this pattern to the one in 4/2007 because the curves at the neck are more gradual and more easy to bind.
3 snaps is total overkill, I just do 2.

another one shortened to shirt, this time in size 56.
shirt is the hau onesie pattern shortened to a shirt (otto 3/2010 #1) in size 56. I borrowed the monkey design from another issue and freezer paper stenciled it one. Super happy how this turned out. The topstiching is done with a triple straight stitch, a new technique for me.
