This pattern runs quite wide IMO. I probably made a size too big, but it is still very wide. If I were to make it again I would remove a few inches from either side. You need a really light flowy fabric to make this shirt I would think. I do think this shirt has a really nice neckline, and it wasn't too hard to sew as long as you line things up well.

Wow! This thing is huge! Too bad I didnīt read reviews before I made it. I added some elastic to the waist (encased in bias binding) to make it wearable, but itīs still big in the shoulders. Next time I am going to make it 2 sizes smaller.
I agree that a lighter weight fabric might be better (this is quilting cotton), but after I washed it, it lays a bit better than this.
