Wonderful pattern! The fit is slim, and seems to run a smidge short for my girl. With added width, these make wonderful flannel lounge pants as well. I like the because they're great under skirtrs/dresses, but don't look silly on their own.
Sewing, running, and yoga loving mom DS#1 (6) , DD (5), and DS#2 (3).
I've made about 10 pairs of these. I've made the size 74 and the size 98. They do run slim! I've used velour and a nice thick interlock. Works well with both! I do add length because I think they run on the short side as well. I've also cut the waist portion down and added a yoga waistband as opposed to elastic.

These are also our favorites for bottoms right now:
Vilkas, Otto 4-08 #2. Size 80 in iced blue cotton velour, for my son. Awesome pattern. Only takes a few minutes to put together.

I love the fit on these! I made size 92 with seam allowances (I usually leave them off for my skinny kids), and I added 1.5 inches to the bottom. Mine were made from black stretch velour, and they fit dd great! Like people said, the fit is slim!
