I love this pattern!
I modified them a bit. I did a full elastic waist, rather than a flat front, skipped the belt, lengthened them, did regular pockets on the back, and made the bottom cuff smaller. They do run a bit short, because even though I lengthened them they only just about fit her and she'll have grown too tall for them pretty soon, I'm sure.
