Pattern Description
patchwork design teapot trivet and coasters
Which view and size did you make?
I made the teacup coasters
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
No
If not, why?
I sewed my pieces in strips instead of blocks. I also quilted the strips before adding the backing.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, very easy
If not, why?

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
They ended up very cute but I found them a bit on the small side so fiddly to turn and topstitch. There wasn't enough room in the bottom to leave a space open for turning. I basically had to leave the entire bottom open for turning and I felt that leaves the end product a bit messy looking.
Fabric used
scraps of quilting cotton, cotton batting, corduroy for back
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I was inspired by this version.

Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes but I would enlarge it slighty
Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes
Any additional comments
I think the seam allowance should be mentioned at the very beginning of the pattern.
