quick question: when you are sewing the fluff to the bottom of the tier, are you stitching in the middle of the strip? That's kinda how it looks in the first picture. I have to make one today for my dd's bday tomrrow!!

To answer the question about the fluff, yes, you are sewing down the middle. It is very forgiving though in the end, so don't sweat it if you get off-center some here and there!
