    Preschool Cape - SNS and Tutorial (IMG Heavy)

    Front view:


    Back view:


    Here is the pattern layout on the fabric:


    The dimensions for the cape and the collar:



    Sew the collar, right sides together, on the sides and the top:


    Turn collar right-side and press:


    Press collar hem approx. 3/8":


    Pressed collar:


    Serge a rolled hem on the cape, except collar edge:


    Find centre-mark on collar and cape:


    Insert cape into collar:


    Pin collar to cape:


    Sew collar to cape:


    Cut 1"-square of velcro:


    Sewn onto collar:


    Finished collar:


    Finished Cape:

    That's a great tutorial. I think I might make those for my prek class. I have been hesitant to make much for this bunch of destructos....

    I would love to make this could someone tell me the deminsons for the cape, my comp isn't showing all the pics. I only see them for the collar.
