Other--Fat Quarter Project ~ Produce Bags

I made 2 of these bags using a main print (the same apples and pears) and a coordinating solid (light yellow) for the band.

My bags turned out exactly like the ones pictured.

The directions were clear and easy to follow. I really liked that she pointed out areas where she had difficulty, mainly with sewing with the mesh, and gave ideas on how to deal with the problems that she had encountered. For me, I had the best results sewing with the mesh on top-next to the presser foot. When top stitching, this wasn't possible, and the mesh would catch every once in a while.

These bags were easy to sew and can be made from a fat quarter. I plan to make many more.
