    Pattern Name/Number
    1/2009 #34
    Pattern Description
Basic long sleeve t-shirt. Slim fitting design with longer sleeves, it's designed to extend past the wrists.
Which view and size did you make?
    146
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
    No
    If not, why?
I did not add the applique design on front bodice. I changed the hem line by adding a contrast strip using my serger to roll hem sewing technique. I placed the contrast fabric and bodice wrong sides together and serged them together, pulling slightly to create a lettuce edge effect. I then hemmed the contrast fabric with a stretch twin needle.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
    Yes
    If not, why?
    -
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The design is a modern and trendy for older girls. My dd wanted the extra long sleeves and fitted style. She immediately approved this design/pattern
    Fabric used
cotton jersey knit--might be a baby rib knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I changed the hemline as described above/ I also did the neckline in the round, self binding method.
Would you sew this pattern again?
    Yes
Would you recommend this pattern to others?
    Yes
    Any additional comments
I will be making more of these for winter, as my dd loves the style and likes how it feels layered. It fits great, too.
