What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that this pattern ends up so flouncy! What little girl doesn't love to twirl? The pattern is a bit tedious when you are sewing, and you need to use extra care when sewing those curves. I don't like that all of the crazy curves make your hem edge a little thready. You can solve that problem by using bias tape or by going around with a rolled hem several times.
Fabric used Owl print quilting cotton
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend I don't use the provided waistband. Instead, I extend the top by two inches straight up. That gives me room to use 3/4-inch elastic in a casing.
Would you sew this pattern again? Yes
Would you recommend this pattern to others? Yes
Any additional comments This pattern does run pretty slim. If you have a child that is bigger than the size given, you can easily add a 6th panel. I have done that several times. It gives more width, and it keeps the same look.
