Design 16 Relaxed velour pants

I made a size 98 width and 104 length out of Chez Ami velour. It didn't do the waistband per OD's instructions...I made a casing instead. I tried to cheat by putting the clear elastic on only the back leg seam allowance (like you would if you were making Dortje pants with gathers) but it didn't gather the legs enough so I went back and cut the 8 strips and did it their way.

I chose to do a narrower width as I didn't want the relaxed hip to be too relaxed. They weren't hemmed quite yet in the above picture. I'll post finished and modeled pics later this week.
