Definitely easy and fast! I sewed size 86 with no horizontal seam allowances for my 83cm toddler. It was a case of cut first, measure later... Too short in the legs! Unhemmed, they would have just barely been long enough. So I added some knee-patch-style length:


So then they're OK for length, even a tad too long, but they will see her through the winter well, but the proportions through the body were a bit off:


I shortened the straps (and cut off and sewed on again all four buttons!) and now they fit fine!
