This shirt goes together very nicely. The sleeves look like they will be way too short, but they turn out true to size.

It does indeed fit a very slim kid. If your kid is even average in girth, it will probably be too tight in the chest.

The plackets on the sleeves were really confusing, until I ironed in all the seam allowances. Then they made sense.

I totally put all the buttonholes on sideways, but whatever. I forgot that on shirts they are vertical, and on pants and coats they are horizontal. I remembered AFTER I had marked the spots and it was too late. Oh well.

These shirts were sort of an excuse to use decorative stitches and embroidery. IMO they are a good canvas for both.
