The pattern has to be downloaded. The button is right above the "Comments" Section. It says "Download Simple Checkbook Cover Sew-Along"-- 2 pages. |

Part of any pattern, is that you have something to cut out and place on your fabric.....I believe that's what was ment by "Where is the pattern?"...all see is instruction step by step on how to do it, but no actuall pattern to use to cut out and put on your fabric.... |

If you go to the free downloads list you will see there are 2 downloads for this. One for the pattern and one for the sewalong. |

I agree with these other girls. I have looked at all three download options on this project and have yet to find an actual pattern to use. Granted it is relatively simple to make one using your own checkbook to make it, but to a novice, this can me quite frustrating. Eviejane |

Really, if you go to the list of patterns they are right next to each other. You will see the same picture for both of the downloads, but one is for the pattern and one is for the sewalong directions. You have to go into each one individually. When I uploaded my patterns I did not have the capability to combine 2 PDF's into one. |

Hmm....just discovered this site. Logged on and I, too, cannot find any pattern for the checkbook. I do see Download [Simple Checkbook Cover Sew Along] right above the Comments section. When I click on it it brings me to page 1 of 3 with photo of checkbook and begins telling you the supplies needed. Pages 2 and 3 are the rest of the instructions. NO PATTERN TO CUT FABRIC FROM. Get the same thing everytime I see "Download" -- I know it's January 2010 but curious if this has ever been solved. Sorry |

Go to free patterns link from the main forums page. Then go to Purses, Bags, Wallets, Etc category. Scroll down and the Pattern download is labeled Simple Checkbook Cover Pattern. Click it and you'll see the download for the pattern. |

I already did download the pattern. It has photos and all the instructions, but [U]A PICTURE OF THE PATTERN TO CUT OUT TO USE AS A PATTERN FOR THE CHECKBOOK COVER IS NOT THERE!! We need something to trace onto paper, place on the fabric and CUT IT OUT. There's nothing there. I'm not the only one who doesn't see it. Obviously, you're not reading the post -- you just keep telling us how to find the .pdf and click and download it. We are downloading it, but, again, on those pages of instructions THERE'S NOTHING TO TRACE AND CUT OUT. If it doesn't exist, then please let me know. Definitely appreciate your contributions though. |

Thank you for your interest and sorry for your frustration. Sewing Mamas is a free site, and supported only by Supporting Sponsors. We don't have big sponsors and basically it's run by me and my faithful and wonderful mods. The patterns here are donated by members. If you are unhappy with a pattern or how it's presented, I invite you to create your own and upload it. Or you can always post in the Help forum, and perhaps someone will work to put the two parts together. |
