What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

This pattern went together quickly, and it was easy to make. I don't like the exposed elastic so I would suggest covering it with extra fabric. I also don't like that there is no topstitching on the suspenders. I prefer items to be crisper, but I was afraid that my fabric would look funny topstitched.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend

I didn't change anything, but I would suggest the changes listed above. I used regular elastic and suspender clips for my version, and they worked great. I might even make the back adjustable for another pair. That would be better for an older boy anyways.

These suspenders would be great in any boy's wardrobe. My son usually just wears a polo shirt and tan pants for dressing up, but he loves these suspenders. He might dress up more often.
