Pattern Description Morris necktie
Which view and size did you make? Large
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
If not, why? -
Were the instructions easy to follow? No
If not, why? I read the instructions several times, and they just didn't make sense to me. I am usually good at figuring out patterns, but I am sleep deprived. Take that as you will.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Didn't like the instructions, but I love the end product! I also didn't like that the pattern was in light grey on the pattern sheet. It was very difficult to trace, and the grain lines were not in the place indicated on the pattern sheet. They are near where the two pieces connect.
Fabric used cotton plaid
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend As suggested by a SM, I added length. The picture shows the tie to be short, and it would have been.
Would you sew this pattern again? Yes
Would you recommend this pattern to others? Yes
