Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend She recommends 3 layers of duck canvas if using quilting cotton. I thought that would make it too heavy and hot so I fused craft fuse on the exterior crown pieces and 1 layer of canvas. On the brim I sewed in pelltex 70 and I used 1 layer of duck canvas. I think that hat has nice structure and it is not too heavy and fits well. I LOVE IT! I love hats.
