These are a great fit and very comfy. Easy to sew up, but a pain to cut out if you don't have a large enough area to do it on. I ended up cutting them out on the floor with scissors rather than with my rotary cutter and mat.
I can't remember if the instructions said anything about elastic, but I stuck some elastic in the waist band to help it stay up.
I'd recommend this pattern and will be making more!
