I think it's interesting you put the neckband down against the feed dogs when attaching it. I always do the opposite. Of course maybe your serger has a free arm?

I think the reason I do it this way is because I want my tag facing up to be sure it doesn't go crooked or get crumpled. I've done it both ways, but I prefer it like this!Quote:

a possible dumb question, how do i measure the neckline? it's curved and i worry that it won't be exact. i don't have a project that i can try this on now, but wanted to ask this while the thread is new and fresh.
i am hoping it's as easy as putting the tape measure around...but i imagine a nightmare, not sure why.
