Ottobre design 4/2012 #33 velour hoodie
Patterns
Pattern Manufacturer Ottobre design
Pattern Name/Number 4/2012 #33 velour hoodie
Pattern Description zip up hoodie made with velour without additional ribbing
Which view and size did you make? I made size 134
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? No
If not, why? I added elastic on the bottom and lined the hood with Flurr fabric. I also forgot to add the pockets in the front and wasn't about to rip out the zipper to change that. :)
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
If not, why? Never even looked at them so I actually have no clue
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that it didn't require matching ribbing. I love velour for hoodies but don't always have a good C/L ribbing match.
Fabric used striped velour and Flurr
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend Nikki LOVES the fuzzy lined hood and has requested the whole hoodie be lined in it next time I sew it, and so has the other one. I like adding the elastic to the bottom because it makes it look a little more RTW I think.
Would you sew this pattern again? Yes
Would you recommend this pattern to others? Yes
Any additional comments A good go-to pattern for velour hoodies. I have a few more already cut out. The fit is good, not too boxy.
Did you SNS what you made from this pattern? If so, add a link to your SNS here. nope, not yet
