I think this *MAY* have been the first otto thing I sewed, beyond the tiny footed pants.
I believe I had done the pants hem and elastic differently than what the instructions suggested but I can't recall
I don't know what size this is. Very small. Not the smallest, but maybe next to the smallest? 62 maybe?
Front with good view of the sash.

This is some of my very first top-stitching, and of course, it had to be red!!

Really cute baby pants pattern, these looked adorable on my DD. One of my first Otto patterns too! I remember the belt loops not really fitting the way they were supposed to on the smaller sizes.
These fit weird on DD, they were too short or too long, I could never decide. But dd loved them and wore them way too much anyway!

I think these turned out really cute! I liked the sash, but the beltloops were too long (if cut as instructed). They got in the way of the elastic so I had to move them down. I would cut them shorter next time.
I cropped these 2" so dd could wear them in the summer. I did think the back rise looked a little strange, but we are also at that strange undies or diapers point. They look cute with a top over them.

Instead, I pieced each side (did my gathers, inserted the belt loops, attached to the yoke) before doing the crotch seams. I then sewed the inseam and finished with the side seam. The other way seemed too complicated. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The back rise looks a little odd on dd. The pattern is really cute though. I like how you can change the look with different sashes.Fabric usedpurple batikPattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommendI chopped off 2" of the length to make them more appropriate for hot weather.Would you sew this pattern again?YesWould you recommend this pattern to others?YesAny additional comments-Did you SNS what you made from this pattern?
