Delia Bloomers - #7 Otto 03/10
These are super duper cute! I will make more. So fast! Added a tad to the rise. Bound with single fold self made bias tape instead of rolled hem just for an accent. I put the elastic in by serging and top stitching instead of making a casing like they said. They are nice a puffy! Love it! (top is from another issue - summer 05 I think?)

I made these in knit. Lengthened the inseam a little so that I could have more of a "ruffle" appearance and have room for a double turned hem, instead of a rolled hem. I just zigzagged elastic in the legs to draw them in.

This is a really cute basic baby bloomer pattern. The back top curves a bit, so you have to be careful when sewing the casing for the elastic: I had to take it out and start again. But so long as you're careful sewing that part, they sew up very easily.
