So, maybe this is a stupid question, but what if I want my skirt longer than knee length??? Like closer to floor length....would I just make my pattern piece that long and then connect the bottom of the rectangle with the bottom of the paper?? Thanks in advance for any replies. I'm new to this sewing clothes thing!! |

just wondering how much fabric I'll need for this? 1 yard or 2?? I'm so excited to try it out and am finding loads of fabric i want to use (oh no...this could be dangrous  )but just want to make sure I get the right amount. thanks .gif "a (11)") |

Appologies if this posts twice. I am loving this idea, but what if I want to make the skirt longer than knee length? Do I just make the paper as long as I want it and then connect the bottom corner of the rectangle with the bottom of the paper and continue on as described? I'm new to sewing clothing of any sort so I really appreciate the simplicity of this tutorial. Thanks in advance for any response. |
