Ohmygoodness - are they ever on top of their game. Their website leaves one to wonder as it is basically an information only page - no pictures, no prices, no list of what they have, etc....

However, because I trusted the person who referred me to them I did as she suggested and sent them an e-mail being very specific with the fabrics I was looking for, a link to the dress I was using for inspiration and within a few days I received 8 LARGE swatches, priced and referenced.

I called today - gentleman who answered the phone asked me for the swatch code - named the fabric, took my order and it's being mailed today.

WOWOWOW! Very, very slick - I was impressed.

By the way - do they ever have some to-die-for double knit wools. As much as I wanted to splurge, I'm holding on to the swatches. I opted for the wool gabardine for now. It is the prettiest red, I can't wait to show you all when I finish Ruthie's dress for Christmas.

I know, I know... but I honestly have no clue as to the logistics of getting from here to there from where you are. I envision major traffic jam - an hour out of your way, subways, wall-to-wall people! I'm from another planet, remember? hahaaha! I didn't want to put you out.

I'm one trainstop away. I could always go on my lunch hour. Your description - it's always wall to wall people here, but we're used to it especially this time of year! crazzzzzzy.

LOVE love LOVE B & J. Not the cheapest prices, but their goods are second to none.

And our boys had fun there, too, passing the time while Lorraine and I browsed.
