Did anyone else find other people's PMs in their PM box?

I went to my PM box as Allison asked us to, to delete any old PMs that were transferred there. I see none of my actual old PMs (I kind of wanted a couple of them, but no biggie!), BUT, I found a whole bunch of messages to and from a different user - looked like a transaction regarding labels. Did this happen to anyone else??

Weird. I had all my own, but I had doubles of about 1/2 of them and they went all the way back to last July.

OK, here's another weird thing. I just went back to my FSOT post that I wanted to bump, and it says that reesemomma is the author, rather than rocketscientist! So maybe it's her old PMs in my PM box. Should I have my old account deleted and start a new one or something?

one more thing to add to the clues... reesemomma's ID number is 829, and mine is 828.

and if I want to find all *my* old threads/posts, I have to click on the link in *her* profile, rather than mine. and vice versa too! It seems as if our numbers have been swapped somehow.

This is not a pretty idea, but if you have the wrong PMs and know who they belong to, send a list to john@mooseclick.com and we can manually go in and re-asign them.

At the bottom of your private message page, there is a download option. I used this at Amity's all the time. Clean up your inbox, then download everything into a text file on your computer. That way you still have the info.

Faith, it looks to me as if your ID is 848. Ladymadelon's is 849 and I *think* your posts/PMs and hers have had their authors swapped, just like me and reesesmomma. Go here: http://www.sewingmamas.com/b/member.php?u=849 and click on "find all posts by ladymadelon" and I think you'll find all your old posts there.

Yep, user 706 has all my posts and I am assuming pm's.

It seems some usernames got jumbled in the move. xJohn is working on the PM issue today. Hopefully that helps with these problems.

Some of my posts are under a different user name as well. I have to leave right now, but I'll post later which username it is if you need the info. It was under the swap from the heart thread that I noticed it.

Is it possible to log into your old account and get your pm's? Copy and paste them on your old computer? I can set up the board so you can read but not post. LMK if that's a help or hinderance.
