Are you trying this one:

I'll move this to the Help section

Are you using the one on the left side or the one on top?

you have to enter terms that are longer than 4 words...which kind of stinks-like the other day I was looking for posts on fabric card

it doesn't look for card, only looks for fabric...so you can tell how many responses I got there! LOL or I looked for yarn cozy and couldn't find it.

everything I search for is always smaller:
yarn, PRR, card, etc etc...and I can never get any results.

you can put things in quotes to help with the four letter thing like "fabric card" then it will search for the whole term

No Meg - I've tried that one too (I just did a serach on Loop ie Sewing Mama Loop) and no results. Yet I have a thread bookmared that has the word loop in the title and the posts.

Any ideas??? :chinscratch

I have tried searching things like Elna, Elna 945, munki munki fabric, munki fabric, and many, many other searches, it always says "no matches, even when I use words I KNOW are in the topic, like when I try finding a thread I post. I have tried, I bet 50 searches, and it has never, ever worked for me, not once.

What browser are you running? And what theme do you have?

I just did a search for "munki" and it returned lots of threads.

Not certain how to tell the theme, but it is pale yellow and a pale pea green background on here. :)

they would have to decrease the required number of letters for search terms..so down to 3 letters instead of 4

I think Nathan said once that it automatically leaves out common words so that it doesn't return a lot of searches. So if you're searching for "xxx fabric" it wouldn't search for the word "fabric" since that's used a lot here. Same might apply for MUNKI, PRR and the like since those come up in posts a lot.
