Pattern Description
A new roomier bag, the Forty Minute Tote. As useful and everyday as the original, this one has the added features of an inside pocket, a boxed bottom and a linen lining.

Which view and size did you make?
N/a

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes

If not, why?

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes

If not, why?

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It is a straightforward tote bag pattern with easy directions. I do not like their method of sewing the straps.

Fabric used
Japanese canvas for outer and quilting cotton for the inner, cotton webbing for straps.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I added the webbing before sewing the lining and outer together at the top. I felt folding each over 1/2" and then sewing wrong sides together is much more likely to result in a sloppy look at the top of the bag.

Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes

Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes
