6/2009 #29- t-shirt Pattern Description
"Dots" T-shirt (sizes 128-170) Which view and size did you make?
I made the ruffled version, and I sized the pattern down to a 110 (using 4/04 #36) Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
I altered my smaller pattern to match this pattern. I used picot elastic for the sleeves and neckline, but, otherwise, it looked like the drawing. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
- What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the look of this pattern. The small details (longer, tighter sleeves) and ruffled bodice turn this basic t-shirt into a show stopper. Fabric used
rayon (or bamboo) lycra- I can't remember what I bought. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I didn't do the gathered sleeve cap, but I kept the other details. Other alterations are listed above. If you use the suggested rayon lycra, make sure to let your shirt hang for several days. This fabric grows. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
I really love this pattern. I don't like triple zig-zag stitches showing, but it looks trendy on this top. I used contrast stitching to make sure that the stitches were a featured detail. Did you SNS what you made from this pattern? If so, add a link to your SNS here.
