4/2009 #23 Pattern Description
"Licorice" cropped leggings Which view and size did you make?
110 with a length of 116 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
Mine ended up being a little longer than the picture, but I think I used a smaller seam allowance for the pintucks. Were the instructions easy to follow?

- What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This was such a tedious pattern. I should have thought seriously about doing 22 pintucks on any knit item. The leggings are adorable, but they took a long time.

To make sure that the pintucks were even on both sides, I lined up the bottom edge of the leggings on my cutting mat. I then drew the lines for both sides at the same time. Fabric used
Orange "cotton lycra" It acted more like a rayon blend. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I didn't change anything about this pattern. This would be a cute pattern for the "ruffly pintucks" technique in the free patterns technique section. I don't suggest pulling the fabric to make them ruffled, but these would be cute with serged pintucks. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
If you know what you are getting yourself into, this is a cute pattern. Just be prepared for it to take a while. The fit was good! Did you SNS what you made from this pattern? If so, add a link to your SNS here.
