n/a Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
- Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
She left out the part about clipping the corners of the flap, but you kind of know to do that from the other steps. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This was a quick and mostly easy project. It was a little difficult to sew and topstitch the edges with all of the fabric and timtex. Take is slow, and you will do fine. Fabric used
I used quilting cotton for the main and Kona for the lining. I used the suggested interfacing. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
You NEED a zipper foot if you want to be able to sew next to the timtex. She didn't mention that at all. It was especially hard to sew the flap over the reinforced snap. You may need to trim away a little extra in order to have a nice topstitch. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
This bag is tiny! It is big enough for my phone, lipstick, and cash. It really isn't big enough to carry a wallet, but I don't usually need more than that when I am out of the house without kids. Her pictures make things look rather big so don't be surprised when they are not. Did you SNS what you made from this pattern? If so, add a link to your SNS here.
