I made this in size 36, using a fairly light-weight sweater knit and a lawn for the binding/belts.

At first, there was way too much extra bagginess under the arms:

So I sewed the underarm/side seam closer, and closer still, about three times... I still think it's a bit baggier than it should be. Maybe the seam between the front panel and the back should also be shortened (ie, shorten the fron panel piece through the raglan seam)... But this worked for now. Finished:

The inside of the necklines and the raglan seams are finished with bias tape. I also finished the hems this way, as it seemed better than inevitably wonky double-needle hem with light sweater knit fabric.

One more adjustment - I didn't like the way the tie belts were sitting around the waist, so I added a buttonhole in one seam, to thread the belt through to make them sit more evenly:
