To make this page you will need blue felt, green felt, gray felt and yellow yarn.

First, cut a square that is 12 X 12 inches out of the blue felt.

Cut a rectangle out of the green felt that are about 9 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall.

Cut a curve on one long side of the green rectangle and secure it to the blue square by sewing close to the edges. The uncurved bottom of the green rectangle will be the bottom of the page.

Now, you will cut out your tower. Cut a rectangle with a curved bottom and angled sides. Cut notches across the top.

To cut the window, fold the tower in half and cut a slit for the bottom of the window. Then, cut the curved top of the window.

Place your tower to the side and then prepare your hair. Cut as many strands of hair as you want (this will depend on the thickness of your yarn--I used between 15 and 20.) You will want the strands to be about 12 inches long, so you will have some room to work. Take your bundle of yarn and tie a knot at the top of it. The knot will mimic the back of the head, so tie it tightly.

Place your tower on your page where you want it and trace around the inside of your window with disappearing marker or chalk.

Remove the tower piece and place the knot part of your hair piece inside the window tracing. Place the short tails of down toward the bottom of the tower. Now, secure the tails with machine stitching.

Place the tower back in place and pull the hair through the window.

Stitch around the window of the tower first. Then, stitch around the outside.

Now, stitch some curved lines on your tower.

Braid your hair and you are done.
