Nathan, do we need to upgrade? I thought we had the most up to date release, 7.9. Am I incorrect? What would an upgrade entail? Can we move our information to another format like Invision or vBulletin?

For Allison et al, should we join the PHP nuke club? http://phpnuke.org/ It's 100 for a year.

I'm really at a loss here.

I believe you are running 7.7 -- you could go to Invision or vBulletin, but just as phpbb and phpnuke have had "hacks" occur; Invision and vBulletin has had the same happen to them... No such thing as perfectly secure software.
However, by a combonation of defenses we can mitigate what can occur again. ;-) I have added a "new" defense that should mitigate this specific attack from ever occuring again... Technincally they might be able to do some damage, but nothing like what they did today (and that is very improbable). ;-)

Nathan.
