I made two nightgowns for each of my girls using this pattern, and I'm sure I'll be making more. I used size 128, as my girls are about 49" tall, and the fit allows plenty of room for growth. They run a bit slim. I was worried they'd use a ton of fabric, as the patterns are so long, but was pleased to be able to get two gowns out of 2 yards of knit (with the sleeves the same fabric as the front/back).

This is the raglan nightgown #36. My daughter measures about 100 cm, so I made the 104, knowing it would be big on her. It will definitely fit for a while! I like how they did lapped seams on the raglan seams and the sleeve cuffs - it makes a smooth finish against the skin. The pictures in the magazine show a flatlock serger seam, but it gave recommendations on stitches to use on a regular machine as well. I used a honeycomb stitch. (I couldn't get any non-blurry closeups on my camera tonight, though!)

Here (http://www.sewingmamas.com/b/showthread.php?t=126 569)is a link to my SNS of these nightgowns. I did regular serged seams for the arms and neckline and then modified the nightgown by attaching the cuffs and the bottom layers with a rolled hem.

this faux farbenmix roxy is modified from this pattern. i chopped off a good 5" from the length so it fits right at her knees. the princess seams, i lay the betty pinafore dress from otto 6/2007 on it as a guidance. the original roxy has a bit of a flare at the bottom, this doesnt. the center panel is cut straight down instead of with a bit of a flare. i will def be making more of this with more flare. i also took in about 1" from both side so its a bit more fitted, my dd is in 92/98cm for width in most otto pattern. sleeves were also chopped off, this was in 104cm. as a nightgown, the fit on her is roomier so i def am glad i took off some of the width.

Made these for a bday present for one of DS's little friends. Made the length and the sleeves shorter. (We won't need long sleeves for a while here in TX! :p) The sleeves look wonky laying flat but they really aren't. I just serged and topstitched the shoulder and neck seams.

size 110 w/ extra length and no hem. Omitted the cuffs, hem and topstitching. Easily made two within an hour that way.

The gown and the shirt are both made from this pattern. I serged and topstitched instead of flatlocking. I also find that the gown runs slim--it works well for my thin girls, but it is worth noting.

Really like this pattern. I serged and topstitched instead of flatlocking but might try that next time. Made the 110 for my 5.5 year old and it goes all the way to the tops of her feet since I did a lettuce edge. :fainter: Otherwise it's a great fit. Love the neck and sleeve bands which go on without too much stretching. Raglan sleeves are always a plus in my book since I hate set-in sleeves. Goes together very fast. Used waffle-weave fabric from JoAnns that I've had way too long. Applique is scrap of quilter's cotton. Oh and yes I do realize I cut one of the sleeves upside down. :o

Yep, I made night gowns for both of my kids, including my son. Why? Why not? :)
Great pattern, easy to put together. I just did regular serged seams. Lots of growing room. I lowered the neckline slightly because I thought I remembered reading somewhere that this pattern has a small neck hole. I don't see that here in the review section, so maybe I remembered wrong, but it turned out fine anyway.

Size 116 width and 122 length in thermal. This is my favorite go to nightgown pattern. It took less than an hour from tracing to done.
