This is one of my favorite patterns! I have made it out of baby corduroy with flannel lining and twill with fleece interlining. The front and back can be pieced and topstitched. It is a beautiful coat with a nice shaped hood.

For my boy version I used two light weight twill prints and interlined with a layer of fleece in the body. I didn't do all the cute piecing as the print I used is really wild and the detail would have been lost. I did piece the sleeves and the shaped hood. For the hood I used the fleece for the inside so it would be soft and cozy around his ears. The ribbing on the sleeves is very hard for me to mentally figure out and then sew. All fully lined coats would be this way if you want the seam allowances to be concealed. I love the look, but its quite tricky!
