I made these shirts using the "Strawberry Tunic" pattern from Otto 3/08. I modified it for long sleeves, and split the back pattern piece to have a yoke (solid), so I could get the most use out of the half-yards of stripes I purchased.

The shorts are the knit shorts from 03/07.

IMHO it runs big in the 98 sizing ... width wise. I added length to get the dress, but the width was way too large for my 3yo.

My second try I hung the pieces off the fold of fabric when cutting by 3/4 inch front and back (thus decreasing the width in the center by 1-1/2 inches in the front and 1-1/2 inches in the back bodice). I also changed the sleeves. I like my second try much better.

I made two of these in size 98cm, I wish I'd popped in here first, they are pretty wide! Not like crazy wide, but wider than you expect. I also don't think in the 98cm size at least that it is tunic length, more like t-shirt length (although my dd does have a fairly long torso). I think it's a super cute shirt and it went together well. I will make this again with a few modifications.
