Ottobre design Pattern Name/Number
2/2007 #4 Gathered neckline top Pattern Description
Cute top with gathering detail in the center front neckline and puffed sleeves Which view and size did you make?
40 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
No If not, why?
I used this tutorial to morph it into a nursing top: http://rowena.typepad.com/rostitchery/2006/05/overlap_nursing.html Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
- What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Love the gathering details Fabric used
cotton jersey with next to no stretch at all Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I ordered my fabric online and bought the wrong fabric! My fabric had no stretch to it, but was the right color. I went and checked, it was my error! So I had to add an extra 3" to the center front to give me enough fabric to work. I only had to add an extra inch or so to the back piece. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
I've made this pattern before just like its drafted and its super cute! It also makes a nice base for a peasant style nursing top.
